Robert Barrus has been developing property in Utah for over 13 years. He got his start in real estate in 1992, but quickly became interested in development. He formed Sienna Development in 1999 and became a partner in Northern Engineering in 2003.

His greatest enjoyment and challenge come from developing mountain resort and recreational properties. Robert's persistent energy and attention to the many facets of land development is winning combination for success and satisfied Buyers. His insistence on high quality ensures that the Buyer's interests are always met.

Although he was born in California, Robert calls Utah home. He is married and has four wonderful children. Robert is actively involved in the community; including the Boy Scouts of America and Habitat for Humanity.

Robert has a great fascination with beautiful cars. He enjoys running, snowmobiling and most any outdoor activity; including driving long distances in a beautiful car in Utah's great outdoors!

Lakshmi was born in Canada, but has called Utah home for over 20 years. She graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of New Haven in Connecticut. She is a former Commercial Bank and Loan Officer, Security Pacific National Bank, San Francisco, California.

Lakshmi is married with two children and two grandchildren.

In 1978 Brant graduated from BYU with a degree in Civil Engineering; his emphasis was in water resources and structures. In 1982 he received his Professional Engineer Certification.

He has performed water studies for municipalities, which have included water modeling, field measurements, evaluating water supply, treatment, storage and distribution. Brant has designed pressurized irrigation systems for municipalities including the water modeling, feasibility studies, cost analysis, and construction management. He has been involved in the design and construction management and sanitary sewer systems for entire communities. Brant has also been involved in the drilling and developing of water wells, development of springs, booster pump stations, compliance with state and federal regulations regarding water supply, storage and distribution, and the design of over 30 concrete storage reservoirs.

The majority of Northern Engineering's design work has been land development related, where many of the civil engineering disciplines such as water resources, hydrology, highway design, surveying, grading, and sanitary engineering are used. The field of land development design gives Brant the chance to always work on something new and different using his problem solving and engineering design skills.

Brant has been working with Robert Barrus since 1996. When Robert purchased a condominium project, he preformed the preliminary design; preparing the final plats and construction drawings. They have been working together ever since.

Brant is married with six children, five girls and one son. The five daughters are married and he has eight grandchildren. Brant says, "Grandchildren are the reward for having children."

Lakshmi got her real estate license in 1996 and started selling new construction condominiums for Robert Barrus. Since the name, LAKSHMI (luck-shmee) in Hindu mythology means the goddess of property and good fortune, Robert hoped this would help business.
